Who We Are

All our meats are grown in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of North Carolina. We raise our own meats on our farm in Icard, NC. Our cows are allowed to graze on green pastures and are 100% grass fed.  Our sheep and hogs also graze pastures with some added nutrition through high-quality hays and feed. All our animals stay on pasture their entire lives, which ensures they taste and grow the way they are supposed to, with no added hormones or antibiotics. There is no comparison between the taste and quality of our meat compared to that of the supermarket. We invite you to visit us anytime to see how your meat is raised.

Our Mission

To help local farms thrive, link farmers to markets and supporters, and build healthy communities through connections to local food.

Our Products

Beef

Our Black Angus pastured, grass fed beef is tender and flavorful no matter which cut of meat you try! You will be amazed. When grass is unavailable we provide locally sourced hay (a grass) that is pesticide free.

Pork

Duroc and Hampshire breeds crossed make the friendliest and most tasty pork. They are a lean meat naturally so all of our pork products have very little fat when cooked.

Lamb

Katahdin sheep are a self-shedding sheep, so no shaving is required. These sheep do well in hot weather and are grass-fed. They are parasite resistant, have good mothering skills, and produce a mild, no aftertaste meat that appeals to people who normally don’t eat lamb.
